Junior Shipping Supervisor

Location: Monterrey, Nuevo León

We are seeking a Junior Shipping Supervisor to support the daily coordination and execution of outbound shipments. This is a hands-on role for an organized and proactive professional who can coordinate warehouse activities, carriers, customers, and internal teams to help ensure shipments are completed accurately and on time.


Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor the daily flow of inbound and outbound materials.
  • Coordinate daily shipment schedules based on customer priorities and operational requirements.
  • Confirm shipment readiness, documentation, material availability, and carrier appointments.
  • Prioritize urgent and time-sensitive shipments.
  • Coordinate loading and dispatch activities with warehouse personnel and transportation providers.
  • Track shipment progress and provide timely updates regarding delays or exceptions.
  • Communicate with customers, carriers, and internal teams by phone and email.
  • Create and update shipment information and loads in SAP.
  • Maintain accurate shipping data, trackers, and documentation.
  • Prepare daily shipping reports using Excel, Power BI, or other reporting tools.
  • Support the resolution of shipping issues and escalate risks when necessary.
  • Identify opportunities to improve shipping processes, communication, and operational efficiency.
  • Participate in root cause analysis and corrective action activities.
  • Provide operational support and guidance to shipping team members and warehouse partners.
  • Support special projects and other responsibilities as assigned.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Business, or a related field preferred.
  • 3–5 years of experience in shipping, transportation, warehousing, logistics, or manufacturing operations.
  • Previous experience coordinating or leading daily operational activities.
  • SAP experience is required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and other Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience with Power BI, transportation management systems, or ERP platforms is preferred.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize customer requests and respond with a sense of urgency.
  • Strong communication and customer-service skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced operational environment.
  • Flexibility to support time-sensitive shipping requirements when needed.
