Your Position

We are looking for a Junior SEO Manager who*with analytical sharpness and technical curiosity can elevate our visibility to the next level. You understand SEO not just as static optimization, but as a dynamic field that you actively shape through smart workflows and targeted use of AI.

In this role, you will be the interface between strategy, technology, and content. You will support us in scaling SEO processes, ensuring website hygiene, and supporting our international teams with precise insights and briefings.

Your Tasks:

• Keyword Research & Strategy: Conducting keyword and competition research as a basis for our content strategy
• Website Hygiene & Monitoring: Setting up and checking automated sanity checks and technical crawls (e.g., with Screaming Frog) to monitor website hygiene and derive measures
• Content Implementation: Ensuring that optimized contents technically and content-wise land smoothly on the website, in collaboration with the Content Team.
• GEO & AEO: You will support us in making our contents fit for Generative Engine Optimization and Answer Engine Optimization to achieve maximum presence in AI-powered search results.
• Automatization: Independent control and further development of SEO workflows and automations using modern AI tools.
• International Steering: Cross-location cooperation with our global teams, translating strategic guidelines into operational briefings and efficiently utilizing local market insights.

Your Profile

• Degree in Business Administration / Media Science / Computer Science / Marketing or equivalent.
• SEO Fundamentals: First practical experience in the SEO field (agency or in-house) and passion for the dynamics of search engine optimization.
• Tech Affinity: You have a knack for tools and no fear of AI workflows; first experiences with common SEO tools (e.g., Search Console, Ahrefs, SISTRIX, Screaming Frog etc.) as well as automations using LLMs, n8n, Make or Zapier bring you along.
• Analytical Thinking: You love data, can recognize patterns and complex relationships independently, and convert them into action items
• Modern Search Mindset: You follow the development of LLMs and AI Search.
• Sense for User Intent: You understand not just what people are searching for but also why they do it.
• Hands-on Mentality: You proactively tackle projects, work solution-oriented, and keep an overview even with many parallel tasks.
• Communication & Team Spirit: You feel at home in the international environment and work gladly interface-bridging with different teams together.
• You master German and English fluently in word and writing. Additional languages (especially Spanish) are advantageous.
