Junior QA Tester

A leading technology company is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join their team as a Junior QA Tester. This exciting opportunity is for a technically astute individual to ensure the quality and reliability of our hardware and software by conducting tests, troubleshooting issues, and identifying defects. If you have experience in software and hardware testing and an entrepreneurial mindset, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

• Conduct hardware and software testing to ensure product quality and functionality.
• Report defects and concerns to the relevant teams for resolution.
• Investigate and troubleshoot bugs or faults reported by internal and external stakeholders.
• Test updated firmware and new hardware to ensure compatibility with existing products.
• Create and maintain documentation for hardware suitability and compatibility.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to complete and test sprint milestones.
• Provide general product support to internal teams.
• Assist with testing both web portal and mobile software.

Requirements:

• A qualification in software and hardware testing, such as an ISTQB/SASTQB qualification, is beneficial.
• Must have a basic understanding of software testing.
• Strong troubleshooting abilities are required.
• Must be capable of working at a fast pace.
• Good communication and team collaboration skills are necessary.
• Previous experience in IT, hardware testing, or software testing is advantageous.
