Junior Purchaser Construction

As Junior Purchaser, you will be part of an experienced team of three colleagues. Together, we support our construction sites by searching for the best suppliers, partners, and materials.

Your tasks:

• Supporting the purchasing process taking into account the imposed requirements (description, quality, price, delivery term, payment terms,…)
• You are responsible for requesting prices in consultation with site management; regular meetings will take place on the construction site;
• You analyze the submitted bids and process them into a clear price comparison;
• You negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors regarding the submitted bids. After which you prepare subcontracting contracts and orders;
• You actively think about optimizations and alternatives that save time and money – without compromising on quality.
• You map the needs of project leaders and other departments.
• You bring a commercial touch and look out for new opportunities.
