Job Description

We are looking for a junior product developer in full-time, who will work directly with the CTO on the central technical challenges of our technology. The role is aimed at strong technical generalists who feel comfortable in dynamic environments, take responsibility, and enjoy solving complex problems.

You will work interdisciplinary in software, hardware, and data to address complex technical challenges. Many of these problems have no clear solution and require a deep understanding, structured thinking, and a strong hands-on mentality to develop robust and reliable systems.

In addition to the technical work, you will also be responsible for ensuring and building our intellectual property and thus actively contribute to the long-term technological differentiation of the company.

Your work will have a direct impact on how we design, develop, and scale our technology and how people use our products in everyday life to improve their mobility and quality of life.

Your Tasks

- Work on complex technical questions across software, hardware, and data and support architectural decisions and system integration

- Evaluate trade-offs between technical, regulatory, and entrepreneurial requirements

- Coordinate technical tasks and translate complex content into clear decisions and implementation plans

- Support in validation and technical documentation with regard to regulatory requirements

- Work actively on building and protecting our intellectual property, for example, by identifying protectable innovations, supporting patent applications, and freedom-to-operate analyses

Qualification

What you bring

- Very good academic achievements in engineering, computer science, physics, applied mathematics, or a comparable technical field (Top 10%) or outstanding technical projects that you have implemented independently outside of university

- Motivation and curiosity to deeply understand complex systems

- Ability to quickly get familiar with new areas, structure complex problems, and make informed decisions under uncertainty

- Ability to work securely across different disciplines, especially in hardware, software, data, and system design

Optional

- Experience with microcontrollers, embedded systems, IoT devices, machine learning, signal processing, data analysis, CAD tools, or mechanical design

- First contacts with regulatory requirements in the field of medical technology

- Experience in project management or technical coordination
