Your main tasks will be:

• Formulating & optimizing recipes:You'll conduct practical feasibility tests on new recipe ideas for cleaning products and cosmetics, and optimize existing products.

• Laboratory tests & analytics:You'll accompany your laboratory experiments independently through systematic laboratory tests (characterization, stability, and storage testing).

• Lab organization:You'll be responsible for the smooth, practical operation of our internal laboratory processes and bring in your own ideas to optimize them.

• Rohstoff qualification:You'll jointly test and qualify new, innovative or alternative raw materials with the team.

• Interfaces & benchmarking:You'll conduct technical benchmarking and performance evaluations, select external testing institutes (e.g., for dermatological tests, heavy metal analysis), and commission them. You'll also synchronize quality agreements, QS parameters, and scale-up care with our suppliers.

• Dokumentation:You'll document your results systematically and share them in the R&D team.

• You've successfully completed an apprenticeship as a chemist/biologist or a chemical/technical assistant (CTA/BTA) OR have completed a degree in chemistry, biology, life sciences, chemical engineering, cosmetics, or food technology.

• You've ideally already gained some experience in product development through internships, final theses, or initial professional years – and bring ideal first experiences with formulating tensid systems or emulsions.

• You have a high level of analytical thinking and an organized, reliable, and meticulous work style. You're eager to take responsibility for the practical laboratory operation, approach complex questions solution-oriented, and stand for precise documentation of your results.

• You're a true team player and trust yourself to professionally and assertively coordinate with external partners and suppliers.

• You're familiar with MS-Office/Google Suite; knowledge of SAP is a welcome plus (desirable).

• You have very good German and good to excellent English skills in writing and speaking for international communication with suppliers.
