We're looking for you: A junior product developer who takes responsibility, thinks along, and has the will to make things better - with a genuine focus on sports equipment.

You'll work in a motivated team, get space for self-responsibility, and have the chance to really make an impact. No corporate blabla. No 'We've always done it that way'. Just clear pragmatism, honest feedback, and lots of energy.

Work model: Full-time or part-time (from 30 hours a week) on-site in Münster - because close coordination and quick decision-making in the team just work better live.

Tasks

• Equipment develop: You bring your own ideas, observe trends, and develop new concepts for functional Calisthenics & Fitness equipment together with the team.
• Products systematically improve: Every month or quarter, you identify specific products, analyze improvement potential, and set optimizations deliberately - from idea to final version.
• Product developers support: You work closely with other product developers, take over smaller and medium-sized equipment projects independently, and support larger, more complex mechanical developments.
• Patterns & Prototypes coordinate: You coordinate pattern orders, compare prototypes, provide structured feedback, and bring products to market readiness.
• Materials & Details in hand: You know the materials and components that go into high-quality sports equipment, and develop thoughtful details that make a difference.
• Schnittstelle between idea & reality: You brief technical documentation, coordinate with suppliers, and ensure that ideas become market-ready products with clear priorities and realistic timelines.
• Quality & Brand Standard secure: You pay attention to processing, measurements, haptic, and safety - and ensure that everything we release meets GORNATION quality standards.
• Structure & Overview: You oversee multiple products simultaneously, plan ahead, and keep timings and deadlines in mind. You structure your projects, remain pragmatic, and bring things reliably to the goal.
• Costs & Economy in view: You calculate realistically, think about production costs, margins, and sales prices - and develop products that perform strongly and economically.

Qualification

• Organisation talent & Self-Responsibility: You can manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize, and tidy up without losing sight of the overview. Structure and reliability are your standard.
• Material understanding Equipment: You know materials like neoprene, leather, fabric bands, plastics, or metal - or have the drive to quickly and practically get familiar with them.
• Tech Ground Understanding: You can work with technical drawings and measurement sheets - and have a feel for function and construction.
• Project & Process understanding: You think in phases, To-dos, and timelines - and steer product developments from the first concept to delivery actively and goal-oriented.
• Quality Awareness & Brand Understanding: You pay attention to processing, details, and consistency - and want to develop products that meet our brand standards.
• Communication & Teamwork: You work closely with production, marketing, and procurement together - internally as well as with international suppliers clearly and solution-oriented.
• Tools: You work safely with Excel or Google Sheets to structure product data, feedback, or timings.
• English skills: You can reliably communicate by email or chat in English with international suppliers.
• Learning readiness & Drive: You want to grow - professionally and personally - have genuine interest in sports equipment and seek a role where you can make a tangible impact and implement your own projects from start to finish.
