RPO's client is actively seeking a Junior Production Planner to join their team in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal. This is an exciting opportunity for a recent graduate who is eager to kickstart their career in supply chain and production planning. The role offers hands-on exposure in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail, critical thinking, and a proactive mindset are key. This is a full-time, onsite position. Responsibilities: Assist in planning and coordinating production schedules to meet customer demand, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of products. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of production plans with other business processes. Develop and maintain accurate and up-to-date production schedules, reports, and dashboards. Identify and escalate potential production bottlenecks and propose solutions to mitigate risks. Collaborate with production planners, operations, and logistics teams to optimize production schedules and minimize delays. Analyze and interpret production data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement. Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including production planners, operations, and logistics teams. Provide support to the production planning team as needed, including data entry, report generation, and ad-hoc analysis.
