Junior Product Owner (m/w/d)

The Handwai GmbH develops intelligent software solutions for the digitalization and automation of construction processes in the trades. Our cloud-based platform uses artificial intelligence to control building workflows, analyze performance reports, and automate VOB-compliant documentation processes – with the goal of minimizing risks, ensuring timely claims, and measurably increasing our customers' returns. As a Junior Product Owner (m/w/d), you will support our product team in further developing our AI-based platform. You will work closely with developers, UX designers, and management to understand the requirements of our users, develop product ideas, and realize successful solutions. Your focus lies on defining functional requirements, preparing data-driven decisions, and ensuring timely implementation.

Tasks

• SUPPORT IN THE CREATION, PRIORITIZATION, AND MAINTENANCE OF PRODUCT BACKLOGS
• ANALYSIS OF USER FEEDBACK, COMPETITIVE PRODUCTS, AND MARKET REQUIREMENTS
• DEVELOPMENT OF USER STORIES, ACCEPTANCE CRITERIA, AND RELEASE PLANS
• CLOSE COOPERATION WITH DEVELOPMENT TEAMS TO ENSURE A VALUE-ORIENTED IMPLEMENTATION
• PARTICIPATION IN SPRINT PLANNING, REVIEWS, AND RETROSPECTIVES

Qualification

• COMPLETED STUDY (E.G. BUSINESS INFORMATION SYSTEMS, BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION WITH IT FOCUS) OR EQUIVALENT QUALIFICATION
• FIRST-HAND PRACTICAL EXPERIENCE IN PRODUCT-RELATED TASKS (E.G. PRACTICA, WORK STUDENT ACTIVITIES)
• BASIC UNDERSTANDING OF AGILE PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT (SCRUM/KANBAN)
• ANALYTICAL THINKING AND HIGH CUSTOMER FOCUS
• COMMUNICATION SKILLS AND TEAM CAPABILITIES
• VERY GOOD GERMAN AND GOOD ENGLISH KNOWLEDGE
