Junior PR Manager (m/w/d)

We offer home and remote office options, and are looking for someone to join us full-time as soon as possible.

Tasks

• You create press releases and newsletters and bring your own ideas, story angles, and aesthetic sense actively into the conception of different texts.
• You take over the preparation of clipping and social media reports, performance analyses, and recaps.
• You are responsible for sample and seeding management as well as for the care and coordination of inquiries from editors, talent managers, and stylists.
• You process and delegate incoming press requests and build your network of journalists proactively.
• You have a deep understanding of branding and recognize which talents or media fit which brands. You have a sense for brands, people, and media and recognize the potential for new partnerships.
• You establish contacts with suitable influencers and media partners with the goal of building long-term relationships with BAM and our brands.
• You update and maintain our mailing lists continuously.
• You are responsible for daily communication as well as processing customer inquiries.
• You coordinate client meetings/calls and prepare them structured before and after (agendas, presentations, recaps, follow-ups).
• You coordinate smaller projects, care for customer relationships, and take responsibility for your own to-dos (including budget control).
• You analyze trends, platforms, target groups, and competitors and lead new ideas from there.

Qualification

• 2 years of professional experience in the fields of PR/communication and marketing
• You are a digital native, love networking, and are empathetic and open
• As a born networker, you have a broad media network in Germany with contacts to relevant media, journalists, stylists, and influencers (print/online). You are contact-friendly, go out of your way to people, and are always open to expanding your network and integrating new people
• You confidently take on customer service and are proactive and structured in conversations with customers.
• You have an affinity for lifestyle topics in the areas of fashion, music, art, and design
• You question existing processes and give concrete recommendations for improvement
• You believe in your ability to make a difference and act carefully and sovereignly even in challenging situations
• You have experience with MS Office, InDesign, and Photoshop
