Plant & Equipment Engineer

Vacatureomschrijving To reinforce our growing plant & equipment department, we are looking for a motivated Junior Plant & Equipment Engineer. The BESIX plant & equipment department manages, maintains and repairs a large fleet of capital equipment for civil construction as well as a large fleet of foundation machines. Your role: You will take on the organization of the mobilization and demobilization of the equipment for our international and national projects; You are in support for the Operations team to ensure that all equipment is properly maintained, repaired and ready for use at any given time. This includes coordinating with suppliers, logistics providers and other stakeholders. Your tasks: - Organize the mobilization and demobilization of the equipment for our international and national projects; - Support the Operations team in ensuring that all equipment is properly maintained, repaired and ready for use at any given time; - Coordinate with suppliers, logistics providers and other stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of equipment and materials. Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field; - 0-2 years of experience in plant & equipment engineering or a related field; - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; - Excellent communication and organizational skills; - Ability to work independently as well as part of a team; - Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
