(Junior) Organizational Developer for Collaboration & Learning (m/f/d)
Job description
Today's problems cannot be solved with yesterday's methods. That's why ProjectTogether brings people from society, politics, and business together for joint action. We call it Collective Action. As pragmatic idealists, we think about the new and work in the present.
In our missions, we show how a different form of coexistence leads to better results: from individual solutions to alliances, from fragmentation to coordination, from mistrust to trust, and from entitlement to co-creation.
This is how we bring hundreds of people from different areas of society together: from the mayor to the activist, from the founder to the state secretary, from the family entrepreneur to the regional developer. As a non-profit organization, we build broad alliances that develop and implement solutions in new ways.
Your Role in Our Team
As part of our Human & Organisational Development (HOD) circle, you will design and maintain the structures, learning spaces, and development processes that support people and teams at ProjectTogether in working effectively and growing together.
You will operate within a clearly defined framework: role- and tension-based working, integrative decision-making processes, and nonviolent communication form the foundation of our collaboration and organization.
Through your work, you will ensure that important processes run reliably, learning formats have a clear common thread, and insights do not get stuck in individual meetings or documents. At the same time, you will be close to the team and perceive what is needed at any given moment: Where is tension arising? What is a team missing? What impulse should be picked up? And what format is truly helpful?
Responsibilities and Tasks
Principles of our Collaboration: You will moderate role and tension sessions as well as retrospectives. Additionally, you will plan training sessions on nonviolent communication and on practicing decision-making processes.
Learning and Competence Development: You will plan and coordinate practical training sessions and learning formats along our competence portfolio on various topics.
Learning Circles and Their Development: You will design cross-team learning formats, train and support other team and project managers, and strengthen them as an active peer group.
Team Formats and Development Processes: You will coordinate and further develop internal formats such as team days, all-hands moderation, and team surveys, as well as onboarding and offboarding, and our organization-wide development process (Entfaltung). Furthermore, you will ensure reliable execution and evaluation.
Organizational Development and Collaboration: You will perceive needs, dynamics, and tensions within the organization, pick up on new internal and external impulses, and, together with the leads of the HOD circle, derive suitable changes for our collaboration, processes, and formats.
Knowledge Management: You will ensure that templates, process knowledge, learning experiences, and decisions are clearly documented, easily findable, and practically usable for daily work – in Notion and in learning formats.
Your Profile
We are looking for someone who combines reliable structure with a good feel for people and organizations. Even if you don't meet all the criteria, we explicitly encourage you to apply.
You have at least three years of relevant experience in team or project management, organizational development, Learning & Development, human resources development, agile organizational design, or a comparable field.
You have already gained experience in systemic organizational development, systemic or integral coaching, mediation, or nonviolent communication. This experience can come from training, professional practice, or independent learning.
You can structure, prioritize, and reliably guide complex and parallel processes to completion.
You have experience in designing and moderating interactive workshops, training sessions, retrospectives, or other team development formats.
You understand group and organizational dynamics and can perceive what is spoken aloud – and what has not yet found words.
You enjoy working closely with teams and are willing to be present and available on-site regularly.
You work independently, proactively introduce topics, and at the same time know when coordination and joint decision-making are important.
You can bring together different perspectives and remain calm, committed, and action-oriented even in tense situations.
You are familiar with digital tools such as Notion, Slack, Personio, HubSpot, or comparable systems – or you are eager to learn them quickly.
You live in the greater Berlin area and are regularly present at our office near Alexanderplatz.
What We Offer You
The opportunity to actively shape the learning and collaboration culture of an organization with a social mission.
A diverse role with significant scope for design at the intersection of people, teams, learning, and organization.
An annual salary between €50,500 and €58,000 gross on a full-time basis, depending on your relevant experience and competencies.
30 vacation days plus an organization-wide break between Christmas and New Year's Eve.
The possibility of remote work, as well as inviting, modern office spaces in the ProjectTogether Community Space in Berlin-Mitte.
Financial support for company pension plans, as well as a subsidy for an Urban Sports membership, for JobRad (company bicycle program), for an additional learning budget, or for the Deutschlandticket (Germany-wide public transport ticket).
A membership with nilo.health.
An additional €2,000 gross per year for individuals providing direct caregiving, such as for children.
The position is also possible in part-time with a scope of at least 80%.
