About the Role:We are seeking a Junior or Senior Denture Technician to join our growing dental laboratory/clinic in Ottawa. This position is ideal for a skilled dental technician who thrives in a collaborative environment and is passionate about precision, aesthetics, and delivering exceptional patient outcomes.The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the fabrication and customization of dentures and related prosthetics. This role does not require a denturist license and is strictly focused on the technical aspects of dental laboratory work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Fabricate, repair, and adjust full and partial dentures according to clinical specifications
- Work with a variety of materials, including acrylics, resins, and digital workflows (CAD/CAM when applicable)
- Support case planning and collaborate with clinicians to ensure accuracy and functionality of prosthetics
- Maintain high standards of quality, precision, and consistency in all laboratory work
- Stay current on evolving techniques and technologies in dental prosthetics
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sterilization protocols
- 1–3 years of experience as a dental laboratory technician (preferably with a focus on removable prosthetics)
- Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
- Willingness to learn and grow under the mentorship of senior team members
- 5+ years of experience specializing in dentures and removable prosthetics
- Advanced knowledge of denture fabrication techniques and materials
- Experience collaborating directly with clinicians on complex cases
- Ability to mentor junior technicians and contribute to process improvements
- Salary Range: $50,000 – $70,000 annually (commensurate with skills and experience)
