This is what you will do

As a junior maintenance technician for bridges and locks, you will contribute to the maintenance and reliability of the Netherlands' infrastructure. You will work on movable installations such as bridges, locks, and pumping stations, ensuring they remain safe and efficient. With your technical knowledge and solution-oriented approach, you will resolve faults and perform preventive maintenance. You will work in a team that values innovation and collaboration, while continuously developing yourself with the many training opportunities we offer.

What you will do:

• Perform maintenance: you will be responsible for repairing and maintaining complex outdoor installations.
• Test installations: you will commission installations, calibrate, and perform precise repairs.
• Resolve faults: you will analyze and fix faults and participate in the on-call duty according to a 24/7 roster.
• Assemble installations: you will dismantle and reassemble installations, and thoroughly test them to guarantee their operation.
• Support colleagues: you will collaborate with your team and coach and support new technicians in a mentoring capacity.

• Salary between €2,800 and €3,200 per month.

We are looking for a solution-oriented maintenance technician who enjoys working outdoors and contributes to reliable infrastructure.

• Minimum MBO diploma in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, or electrical engineering.
• Possession of a B driving license.
• VCA certificate or willingness to obtain one.
• No fear of heights and ability to work safely around water.
• Proficient with digital tools or willing to learn quickly.
