Our client is a specialized IT service provider with a focus on modern network and cybersecurity solutions. To strengthen the support team, a Network & Security Support Engineer (m/f/d) is sought to support the stable and secure operation of complex customer environments.

Tasks

Your Mission

• Processing and resolving network and security incidents in 2nd level support
• Administration and operation of firewall systems in a managed service environment
• Analysis and troubleshooting of problems in LAN, WAN, and VPN networks
• Implementation of firewall changes and security optimizations
• Monitoring, documentation, and support for security events
• Participation in customer projects and the introduction of new network and security solutions

Qualification

Your Superpowers

• Apprenticeship in the IT field or comparable qualification
• Experience in network or security support
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, Routing & Switching, VLANs, VPN, DNS, and DHCP
• German and English spoken and written

Nice-to-have

• Certifications such as CCNA, Fortinet, or Sophos
• Experience with firewalls (e.g., Fortinet, Sophos, Cisco, Palo Alto, or WatchGuard)
• Experience with Microsoft 365, Azure, or SIEM solutions
• Basic knowledge of Linux and Windows server environments
