What awaits you:

We are currently launching new projects where we think AI-first from the start – from development to product idea. Topics such as tourism, mental health, and the music industry meet modern software stacks and AI-powered development. If you are eager to build things with us that don't smell like standard enterprise solutions but actually make a difference, then we are looking for you!

Tasks

• You work with AI agents in code (e.g., Claude Code, Codex) and verify their results yourself.

• You develop models for recommendations, forecasts, and classifications.

• You evaluate models with clear metrics and benchmarks.

• You integrate AI services into the product, e.g., LLMs, embeddings, or text processing (NLP). You also build agents with Function Calling/MCP.

• You bring models into production and maintain them (MLOps).

• You assess where AI and ML truly help in the product and where they do not.

• You bring solutions from prototype to production with the team, including deployment and monitoring.

• You explain results clearly and openly state their limitations.

• You share knowledge, with people and with AI agents.

• You work closely with Product, UX, and Development. Our AI Officer will provide technical guidance.

• You will independently be responsible for sub-areas.

Qualification

• You have completed a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Business Informatics, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field, or possess equivalent practical experience. Your own projects count just as much.

• You have gained initial experience, e.g., through internships, working student positions, your thesis, or your own projects. Years of professional experience are not a prerequisite.

• You are proficient in Python. Git and maintainable code are a given for you.

• You are familiar with classification, time series, and clustering.

• Initial experience with LLMs, embeddings, or agents is a plus (e.g., Tool Calling, MCPs).

• AI-powered development (e.g., Claude Code, Codex) is part of your daily routine.

• You ask questions when data and requirements do not match and work carefully with confidential data.

• You reflect on your work and share knowledge. Experience as a tutor is a plus.

• You speak German at C1 level and English at B2 level.
