Junior Linux Administrator (m/w/d)

To strengthen the IT Infrastructure / System Administration department, we are looking for a Junior Linux Administrator (m/w/d). The position is ideal for newcomers to the profession, but also offers attractive development prospects for experienced Linux administrators.

Tasks

• Design, operation, and further development of Linux servers (on-premises & Cloud)
• Monitoring of performance, stability, and security
• Troubleshooting as well as patch and update management
• Participation in projects on virtualization, automation, containers, and cloud setups
• Automating recurring tasks (Bash, optional Python)
• Support for logistics and e-commerce systems
• Documented and continuous optimization of the infrastructure
• Active knowledge exchange within the team
• Potentially: development towards project or IT lead

Qualification

Must-haves

• Completed IT training (e.g. Fachinformatiker Systemintegration) or comparable practical experience
• Solid knowledge in Linux administration (Oracle Linux, Red Hat, Ubuntu, Debian, CentOS)
• German language skills B2-C1

Nice-to-haves

• First experience with scripting (Bash, Python)
• Contact with cloud environments
