Junior AI Project Manager & Trainer (m/f/d)
Job description
Junior AI Project Manager & Trainer (m/f/d)
Munich – Hybrid (min. 1 day/week office), 20h/week Projects + AI Training, Salary by agreement
Start: By early October 2026 at the latest – otherwise the role must be filled externally.
Do you want to do more than just observe AI, but actually conduct trainings yourself and support real customer projects – from the initial idea to implementation?
This is not about theoretical concepts without practical relevance. This is about making AI understandable, empowering customers, and learning in exciting projects at the same time – with real impact and flat hierarchies.
Our Client
Our client is a growing AI consulting and product company based in Munich that supports companies in integrating Artificial Intelligence – from strategy to implementation to training. The core business: AI solutions that not only work but also inspire – for clients from industry, HR, finance, and beyond.
The environment is fast-paced, performance-oriented, and strongly characterized by execution. No endless strategy rounds without results, but people who take responsibility and really drive things forward. The team is small, agile, with an office in Munich – and is now looking for someone who can independently take on AI training and grow with customer projects at the same time.
Why this role is exciting
- You will independently conduct Basic AI Trainings for clients – from Prompt Engineering to tool introductions to AI fundamentals
- You will support AI projects for 20 hours per week – for the first 3 months in the background for onboarding, then with growing responsibility
- You will work directly with the founding team and experienced AI Engineers
- You will get real creative freedom instead of corporate politics – flat hierarchies, quick decisions
- You will get to know modern AI tools in practice – n8n, LangChain, RAG, LLM APIs, vector DBs
- You can co-design training concepts, learning materials, and customer workshops yourself
- High influence on customer competence and project success – you make AI tangible
- Hands-on mentality is not a buzzword on the career page here, but simply necessary. Tragically rare nowadays.
Responsibilities
- Independently prepare and conduct Basic AI Trainings – for clients from various industries, different competence levels, from beginners to advanced
- Support AI projects for 20 hours per week – assistance with concept development, requirements analysis, customer workshops, technical translation
- Onboard in the background for the first 3 months – learn by listening, participating, asking questions; then growing self-responsibility
- Moderate customer workshops – gather requirements, sketch solutions, highlight AI potentials
- Support agile management of AI projects – from prototype to MVP to scalable product, together with consultants & engineers
- Use modern AI tools in practice – n8n, LangChain, Prompt Engineering frameworks, vector DBs (e.g., Pinecone), Notion AI, Make, RAG, LLM-based APIs
- Create training materials and documentation – handouts, videos, guides that truly help clients
- Support clients in adopting AI tools – not just explain, but empower
Qualifications
- 1–2 years of professional experience after graduation – in a tech, agency, or consulting context; this role is for genuine career starters with initial practical experience, not working students or fresh graduates without work experience
- You have already managed or co-managed customer projects – ideally with tech-related or AI-related content; smaller projects or internal initiatives also count
- Very good understanding of Artificial Intelligence, ML processes, and their application – you don't have to be a Data Scientist, but you understand what AI can and cannot do
- You know tools like n8n, Make, RAG, LLM-based APIs, Notion AI, or similar from practice – not just by hearsay, but used them yourself
- Strong communication skills in German and English – you conduct trainings, moderate workshops, talk to clients and tech teams; confident demeanor is essential
- Self-organization, ownership, and desire for changing requirements – you manage your trainings yourself, your projects yourself, your time yourself
- You are eager to learn and enjoy growing into responsibility – the first 3 months are for learning, after that you take on more
- Very good German language skills in spoken and written form (at least C1)
What doesn't work here
- Fresh graduates without work experience – this role requires initial practical experience after graduation, pure working student periods do not count
- German language skills worse than C1
- Theorists who only know AI from podcasts or LinkedIn posts
- Candidates who have no desire to stand in front of people and train them themselves
- People without initiative – here you organize your trainings and projects yourself
- Pure project managers without basic technical understanding – you must be able to work with n8n, LangChain & Co.
- Candidates who expect a perfectly prepared training curriculum – you will help build it
- Candidates without a confident demeanor in front of clients – you represent the company in trainings and workshops
- Candidates who speak only German or only English – both languages are mandatory
- Candidates who cannot start by early October 2026 at the latest – the date is fixed, otherwise it will be filled externally
- Candidates who are not willing to work at least 1 day per week in the office in Munich – presence is mandatory, not a purely remote role
Benefits
- Hands-on projects that have a direct impact on clients
- A team with real AI expertise and flat hierarchies
- Freedom, responsibility, and the opportunity to rethink things
- Hybrid work model with at least 1 day/week in the office in Munich
- Professional development in a tech environment focused on growth
- You will learn from experienced AI experts and grow into project work
- Modern AI tools and infrastructure provided
What makes this role special
- You don't just build AI solutions, but AI competence for clients – with real educational impact
- High visibility and direct influence on customer understanding and project success
- Existing potential is already there – clients from industry, HR, finance – now it needs someone who makes AI understandable and supports projects
- Entrepreneurial environment with short paths and high speed – despite growing structure
- Lots of responsibility, lots of design, few excuses. A nightmare for some people, exactly what the right ones are looking for.
Ready for the next step?
Then apply now as Junior AI Project Manager & Trainer (m/f/d).
Whether your current title is Product Owner, Project Manager, AI Trainer, Digital Consultant, Tech Trainer, AI Evangelist, or Junior Consultant:
What matters here is not your title. What matters is whether you not only understand AI but can also convey it – with a confident demeanor, initiative, and the willingness to grow in projects.
Important: Please state your salary expectations, your earliest possible start date, and whether you are active in other processes early on – we move quickly and don't want to waste time. Start by early October 2026 at the latest.
