Junior IT System Administrator (m/w/d) - Internal IT & Infrastructure

To strengthen our internal IT, we are looking for a junior IT system administrator in full-time employment as soon as possible.

Tasks

You will support the M/Team in managing our internal IT environment and working with colleagues, gradually contributing to infrastructure and customer projects:

• Sets up and prepares workstations (notebooks, clients, accessories)
• Assists in setting up and maintaining virtual machines
• Supports the operation and maintenance of internal server infrastructure
• Administers Active Directory and Microsoft 365, including user, group, license, and permission management
• Analyzes and resolves issues in the client and server environment
• Participates in customer projects, particularly in infrastructure and administrative tasks
• Cares for our internal employees in IT daily life
• Duplicates systems, settings, and IT processes

Qualification

• Completed IT training (e.g., Fachinformatiker:in Systemintegration) or comparable IT-related studies or initial practical experience in the IT field
• Basic knowledge of Windows client and ideally server environments
• First-hand experience with virtualization (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V) is advantageous
• Interest in IT infrastructure, servers, and system administration
• Learner's willingness, structured work style, and sense of responsibility
• Teamwork ability and reliable working style
• Good German language skills in writing and speaking & basic English language skills
