Junior IT Project Manager (m/w/d)

Tasks

As a Junior IT Project Manager:in, you will be responsible for the further development of Shopify shops and steer projects at the interface between customers and development. You are responsible for our technically demanding projects: interfaces, tracking, bundle builder, and A/B testing. You do not just complete tasks, but ensure that requirements are carefully thought out, prioritized, and efficiently implemented.

Your tasks:

• You steer your own projects and are the central point of contact for our customers. You think technically with us and understand how new features, apps, or integrations affect existing setups
• You analyze requirements, assess their technical feasibility, and prioritize them. Based on this, you translate requirements into clearly structured tasks for our developers
• You think risks through, ask the right questions, and find practical solutions together with customers and developers
• You keep track of progress and results and ensure that projects are efficiently implemented and run smoothly
• You ensure after project completion that processes are optimized

Qualification

• You have completed a degree, ideally in business informatics, business administration, or a related field. Alternatively, you bring a strong technical background
• You don't have to be a developer. But you should understand how developers think. Terms like API or backend are not foreign words for you, so you can grasp and translate technical connections
• First experiences in project management, e-commerce, or even the Shopify environment are a plus point
• You take responsibility for your topics, think proactively with us, and don't wait for tasks to be assigned to you
• You question requirements, ask the right questions, and look for solutions that work in the long term and not just look good in the short term
• Your German language skills are top-notch, and you can express yourself well in English too
