Our client is a specialized consulting firm in the field of Cyber Security. It offers individual, sustainable solutions and sets on long-term, trust-based customer relationships. With profound experience in Cyber Security Incident Response, IT-Forensics and Cryptography, our client supports its customers in protecting sensitive data and systems. To strengthen the team, we are looking for a Junior IT-Forensiker / Analyst (mIwId), who will work together with experienced experts on exciting projects and contribute to digital security of our clients.

Location: Greater Frankfurt area (mobile working possible) I Start date: upon personal availability

Tasks

• Analyst: Support in IT-forensic analysis after cyber attacks under guidance of experienced colleagues
• Data Management: Participation in identifying, isolating and securing digital data, traces, artifacts and potential evidence
• Witnesses: Support in restoring deleted data and identifying and containing malware
• Reconstruction: Work on analyzing and reconstructing cyber attacks based on forensic findings
• Dokumentation: Contribution to creating compliant documentation and reports on investigation progress and results
• Infrastucture: Participation in developing and implementing provisional infrastructure for maintaining business continuity
• Teamwork: Collaboration with internal teams to restore and secure compromised IT systems

Qualification

• Audible: Completed education or study in computer science or comparable qualification
• Affinity: You have an affinity for IT-Forensics
• Analytical thinking: You possess a structured way of thinking and work independently
• Experience: First insights into forensic methods you have already gained
• Knowledge: You are familiar with various file systems (especially Microsoft and M365) and network protocols
• Tools: Ideally, you have already worked with common forensic software and security tools
• Sprachkenntnisse: Very good German and English language skills complete your profile
