Design Engineer - AUTOCAD
Technical / Design Department
Reporting to Technical Manager
Company Description
Our client is a world leader in scaffolding solutions (Allround, SpeedyScaf, Event), recognized for German quality, flexibility, and professional training. The systems are used in construction, industry, events, and retrofitting – with a strong presence in Romania.
Main Responsibilities:
- Design and detailing of scaffolding using LayPLAN CAD and AutoCAD; creation of 3D models, collision checking, and generation of assembly plans/senatorial PDFs.
- Preparation of technical offers and feasibility studies, with calculation of materials and logistical costs.
- Technical assistance for the sales team and clients, proposing customized solutions based on requirements (Allround, SpeedyScaf, protection systems, events).
- Participation in meetings and construction sites for technical adjustments, clarifications, and on-site checks.
- Preparation and delivery of internal/external training (seminars, training for erectors/end clients).
🎯 Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Higher technical education (Construction, Engineering, Architecture, or similar).
- Experience in technical drawing/AutoCAD, ability to generate 3D models, plans, and bills of materials.
- Communication, presentation, and negotiation skills – prepared to explain technical solutions to clients and partners.
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Foreign languages: technical English (international standard)
- Driver's license category B.
✅ Technical Competencies:
CAD 2D & 3D: AutoCAD and/or LayPLAN CAD integration for scaffolding modeling.
Material calculation and logistical-technical planning.
Collision checking and 3D design optimization.
