Junior Energy Planning Engineer (m/w/d)

We're not looking for someone to plan a heating system for some single-family home. You'll develop energy systems that supply entire neighborhoods in a climate-neutral way – with heat pumps, district heating networks, PV systems, and smart control. Projects that actually make a difference.

We're a young, growing team in Rheine – with flat hierarchies, real decision-making spaces, and customers ranging from municipalities to housing companies. No conglomerate. No silo. No 'just make some coffee'.

You'll jump right into project work – and help shape how we as a company grow and how the energy transition takes concrete form in our region.

Tasks

You'll be fully integrated into real projects from day one – not just as a supporting role. This means:

• Collaboration on technical planning for district heating networks and regenerative neighborhood supply (pre-planning, concepts, design)
• Support in creating feasibility studies, energy concepts, and tender documents
• Interface work between technology, project management, and communication with customers and partners
• Site supervision and insight into the implementation phase – so you understand what happens to your plans in reality
• Co-shaping our planning processes – your fresh ideas are explicitly welcome

You're ambitious – but not from ego

You have practical experience – that sets you apart

• Idealistically, you've had a vocational training (SHK, electrical engineering, civil engineering, etc.) before your studies
• Or you're fresh from technical school and want to take the next step
• Even without that: you're tech-savvy, curious, and not afraid of construction sites

Your professional foundation

• Studies in the field of supply technology, TGA, energy, building, and environmental engineering, etc. – completed or almost completed
• Familiarity with CAD or willingness to quickly learn it
• Interest in renewable energy technologies: heat pumps, district heating networks, PV systems, sector coupling
• Good German language skills, as you'll communicate with municipalities, craftsmen, and citizens
