Junior Fullstack Developer (m/f/d)

You will be part of the team building the software that supports a tenant electricity project from the initial inquiry to live operation.

The team is currently growing in two areas:

Go-to-Market: 

From the initial inquiry to the signed project. Inquiry funnel, economic calculation, and the partner portal for solar installers and electricians.

Project Implementation: 

From the signature to live operation. A new portal that brings metering concepts, registrations, commissioning, and initial billing from spreadsheets and email loops into an app. The first version is currently being designed; you would be involved from the beginning.

You will join one of the two areas. We will clarify which one suits you best during the interview.

• Building and further developing a product: You will take on your own manageable area of our software from the start and grow with it.

• Close, direct collaboration with experienced developers, product, and design; in the first few months, a dedicated buddy will guide you.

• Development of TypeScript-based front-ends and back-ends (React & NestJS).

• End-to-end feature implementation – from the ticket, through the first line of code, to productive deployment, with reviews and sparring, but without someone doing the work for you.

• We work with AI coding assistants as an integral part of the workflow. Not as a toy, but as a tool with clear rules: You decide what you delegate, and you are responsible for what gets merged.

• Contribution to the further development and maintenance of PostgreSQL databases.

• Support in the development and extension of APIs.

• Writing clean, understandable, and maintainable code, regardless of whether you or an assistant typed it.

• Participation in code reviews, tests, CI/CD, and deployments.

• Active learning and gradual assumption of more responsibility within the team.

• Initial practical experience in web application development.

• Good foundation in TypeScript and initial experience with React.

• Basic backend experience (Node.js / TypeScript; NestJS is a plus) and interest in APIs and modern web architectures.

• Initial exposure to relational databases, ideally PostgreSQL.

• You have worked with AI assistants and know that their output is a suggestion, not a result: You read, understand, and test before you accept.

• You are eager to build clean software and want to understand why things are implemented a certain way and for what purpose.

• You reliably implement clearly defined tasks and actively seek clarification for open issues.

• You want to take responsibility for your own area, not just work through tickets, and are comfortable in startup structures.

• Eager to learn, curious, and motivated to develop professionally.
  

• Team-oriented, open in communication, and interested in technical interrelationships.
  

• Languages: German at least at B2 level, written and spoken.
