Junior Foreman (Roads & Infrastructure) - Construction Industry

RPO Recruitment's client, a leading civil engineering contractor in Cape Town is seeking a Junior Foreman who can contribute to delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget.

The successful candidate will assist in supervising and coordinating daily site activities on civil projects, focusing on roads and infrastructure works.

This position is ideal for a motivated individual with a technical background in civil construction who is eager to gain practical site experience.

Requirements:

• National Diploma or N6 Certificate in Civil Engineering or relevant construction qualification
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in civil construction, preferably in roads, stormwater, and infrastructure works
• Practical knowledge of construction methods, materials, and plant operation
• Proven experience working on multi-million rand infrastructure projects
• Valid driver’s license and own transport
• Strong communication and leadership abilities
• Hands-on approach with attention to detail
• Good understanding of site safety practices
• Ability to read and interpret drawings
• Reliable, proactive, and eager to learn
• Strong work ethic and commitment to quality workmanship
