Tasks

• As (Junior) Firmware Developer (m/w/d), optimize and develop the firmware for embedded systems (C/C++)
• You are responsible for integrating security mechanisms into the development process
• In addition, you conduct Security-Reviews, Unit-Tests, and Integration-Tests
• The conception and implementation of Over-The-Air-Update-Mechanisms is within your area of responsibility
• You take over the analysis and correction of firmware errors in various phases
• Your task profile is rounded off by creating technical documentation for firmware architecture and security measures

Qualification

• A completed degree in (Business-) Informatics, Engineering or Physics
• First professional experience and further knowledge in firmware development (C/C++)
• A well-developed basic understanding of security concepts in embedded systems
• Fundamental knowledge with JTAG, GDB, Logic Analyzer desirable
• An understanding of hardware interfaces (GPIO, SPI, I2C, UART) is advantageous
• Solid German and English skills (C1) in spoken and written form
• A structured and engaged working style
