(Junior) Finance Manager (German Speaking) (m/f/d)

As a (Junior) Finance Manager (m/f/d), you will work in a high-performing, small finance team directly with the VP Finance – and take on responsibility from day one. From ongoing accounting to monthly and annual financial statements, reporting, forecasts, and the automation of our processes, you will cover the entire spectrum – and see directly how your work is received by management, investors, and the board. This way, you will develop a deep understanding of the financial management of one of Europe's leading digital asset managers – and actively shape it.

What will you do specifically?

• Monthly Closing: You will independently take on recurring reporting and closing tasks and ensure that our monthly closing is completed – on time and reliably.

• Annual Closing: You will be involved in the preparation of the German GAAP annual financial statements and will support our accountants and auditors during the audit.

• Reporting: You will create KPIs and financial metrics for management presentations and contribute to investor and board documents.

• Analyses: You will build financial models, forecasts, and variance analyses, turning numbers into reliable insights.

• Process Automation: You will digitize and automate our financial processes, including through AI applications – and find the tools that will make us faster tomorrow.

WHAT YOU BRING WITH YOU

• Experience & Qualification: You have completed a commercial apprenticeship and/or a university degree. Initial practical experience in accounting/controlling, consulting, investment banking, or venture capital is an advantage.

• Analytical Skills: Numbers are your home: You think analytically, work confidently in Excel, and quickly get to grips with tools like NetSuite, Abacum, Moss, or PowerPoint. Experience with automation and AI tools is a plus – you will learn much of this on the job with us.

• Mindset: You bring a proactive, meticulous, and detail-oriented approach to your work and thrive in a dynamic, fast-growing startup environment. You are ambitious, enjoy taking responsibility, and see things through independently.

• Language: You speak fluent German and English (at least C1) and feel comfortable in an international work context.
