JUNIOR FIELD TECHNICIAN - SERRA/ES

Description of the vacancy

• Responsible for performing field services, including sampling of waters, soils, residues and soil vapors, and other external activities, such as measurements of physical-chemical parameters in the field and logistics of materials and samples for the project until delivery to the laboratory, in order to ensure that the laboratory receives correctly collected samples according to standardized procedures and client requirements for productive flow of the unit in all external operations contracts for the Environment sector;
• Respect the company's values of health, safety and environment;
• Collect water, soil, residue and soil vapor samples for monitoring in accordance with environmental agencies' requirements and contractual obligations from clients in the Environment sector;
• Measure field data and fill out field reports according to sampling procedures practiced, filling in documentation for sample entry into the laboratory (chain of custody) and effective communication for pickups/deliveries;
• Perform personal logistics of materials and samples in a vehicle provided by SGS according to project planning for the Environment sector;
• Attend training and integrations as demanded by SGS and its respective clients in the Environment sector;
