- Relevant tertiary qualification
- 1–3 years’ estimating experience in construction, civil, infrastructure, or related fields.
- Experience in utilities and earthworks preferred.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Proficient in Excel; knowledge of estimating software is advantageous.
- Ability to read drawings/specifications and prepare accurate costings.
- Familiarity with cost-estimating methods.
- Prepare cost estimates, tenders, and pricing submissions.
- Liaise with suppliers, subcontractors, and internal teams.
- Assist with pricing databases and process improvements.
- Support senior estimators with data, risk assessment, and reporting.
- Conduct site visits to validate project details as needed.
