You have successfully completed your studies in aerospace engineering or mechanical engineering and bring relevant professional experience in the development and integration of aircraft cabin components? Additionally, you are organized and resilient? Then we're looking for you as a (Junior) Development Engineer (m/w/d) Cabin Interior at the earliest possible time. In the context of your activities, you will develop and modify cabin interior components according to EASA-21J, prepare and test relevant documents and approval certificates, and accompany their production and installation. You will take responsibility for individual components in the project, assess risks, and work out constructive solutions considering time, costs, and quality, including defining suitable test configurations.

Tasks

• You develop and modify cabin interior components in accordance with EASA-21J approval.
• You also prepare production documents, installation documentation, maintenance guidelines, and approval certificates, and test these as needed.
• In addition, you accompany the production and installation of the components.
• You take responsibility for individual components in the project and analyze and assess opportunities and risks.
• You work out constructive solutions with a view to time, costs, and quality and oversee their implementation.
• To conclude, you define and develop test configurations to ensure the construction of the components.

Qualification

• A completed degree in aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, or comparable field.
• Multiple years of practical experience in the development and integration of aircraft cabin components, particularly furniture, lavatories, partitions, and lining, galleys.
• In-depth knowledge of regulatory frameworks for aviation.
• Fluent written and spoken German and English skills.
• A high level of customer orientation and enjoyment working in a team.
