Your Role: Shopify & AI Traffic

As a Junior E-Commerce Manager, you will connect Shopify with AI Traffic: you will develop and optimize shops and ensure that they are found and recommended in Google, ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Gemini.

You are the single point of contact for your clients, conduct workshops, define goals, and are responsible for the independent implementation of your projects. Your team lead sets the direction – you bring the projects to completion.

Responsibilities

🛍️ Shopify Implementation

• You will build Shopify stores from concept to go-live – you will independently implement theme architecture, Liquid, app integrations, and Shopify Functions.

• You will advise merchants on shop structure, functionality, and technical decisions – understandably, honestly, solution-oriented.

• You are responsible for the overall result of your projects, not just your own task.

🔎 GEO & AI Visibility

• You will operationally implement GEO strategies – structured data, Schema Markup, feeds, content optimization – so that customer stores are recognized and recommended as relevant sources in ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini & Co.

• You will conduct AI shop analyses and derive concrete, actionable measures from them.

• You will continuously test, iterate, and optimize – data-based, not gut feeling.

✍️ Content & Lifecycle

• You will create content that performs equally well for traditional search engines and generative AI systems.

• You are responsible for the ongoing content lifecycle of your client projects – creation, optimization, monitoring.

• You will create monthly performance reports and derive concrete next steps from them.

⚙️ AI Tools & Automation

• You will use AI in every step of the process – research, shop implementation, content, data analysis, QA, reporting.

• You will build AI-powered workflows and automations that eliminate recurring tasks and maximize output.

• You will proactively experiment with new AI technologies and bring them to the team with a concrete use case.

🤝 Merchants & Workshops

• You will conduct workshops with merchants – with a clear focus on measurable project success.

• You will communicate proactively so that no merchant or team member ever has to ask how a project is progressing.

• You will collect two reviews after each project completion – on Shopify and on Google. Your claim: 5 stars.

You discover new tools and Claude Skills before the team has heard of them – and bring them with immediately actionable added value. You combine tools, APIs, and AI into solutions that didn't exist before.

In addition: You distinguish between "works" and "is really good" – and enjoy achieving the latter. You are open to feedback, even if it's uncomfortable sometimes. You learn quickly and like to try things out. What you promise, you deliver – and if it doesn't work out, you say so early.

Must-Haves

• 🛍️ Shopify Expertise: Demonstrable experience in building and managing Shopify stores for real merchants. You are confident with themes, Liquid, and app integrations.

• 📈 Content & Marketing: Experience in content strategy, SEO, or digital marketing – ideally with measurable results.

• 🔎 AI Search & GEO: Very good knowledge of ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, and Claude, as well as how e-commerce brands become visible in AI search and answer systems.

• ⚙️ AI Automation: Experience with n8n, Make, Zapier, Custom GPTs, or similar tools.

• 💻 Technical Understanding: Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, structured data, and feeds.

• 🎤 Client Communication: Experience in conducting and moderating client workshops.

• 🇩🇪 German at the highest level: Flawless written and spoken communication skills.

• 🚀 Hands-on mentality: You implement yourself, take responsibility, and want to see results – not just present concepts.🌍 Language: Your German skills are at C2 level.
