Junior E-Commerce Manager (m/f/d)

As Junior E-Commerce Manager, you will be responsible for the operational support of our product data and marketplace presence, from complete, well-maintained product listings to the smooth processing of order processes. You will contribute to ensuring that our customers always find a complete, up-to-date range of products on Amazon, Otto, Kaufland, and other marketplaces. In doing so, you will make an important contribution to our position as a reliable marketplace partner.

You will report to our Team Lead E-Commerce. She will set goals and framework conditions, and you will independently shape the concrete implementation. In day-to-day business, you will work closely with the entire E-Commerce team.

The E-Commerce area is growing, and your range of tasks will change and expand accordingly. This will create development opportunities that we will align with your strengths and interests.

Your Tasks

Product Data & Listings

• You will create product listings, maintain them, and ensure their completeness on all marketplaces.

• You will independently create and optimize product texts and take care of suitable image material.

AI in Everyday Work

• You will actively use AI tools for product texts, translations, data maintenance, and evaluations.

• You will develop your own ideas on where AI can make our marketplace processes faster and better, and implement them.

Order Processing & ERP

• You will keep an eye on plentymarkets and open orders, focusing on our marketplaces and supplementing this with the online shop. You will pay particular attention to a smooth process for order processing and return registration.

• You will identify irregularities early on and report them or resolve them independently.

Marketplace Maintenance

• You will keep deadlines, marketplace guidelines, and performance metrics in view so that our marketplace rating remains consistently strong.

• You will identify suitable marketplace promotions such as 'Sparfuchswoche' or 'Top Deals' and independently implement participation.

New Marketplaces

• As soon as the strategic decision for a new marketplace has been made, you will independently take over the operational integration, from listings and assortment to master data.

Launches & Reporting

• You will support product launches with independent operational implementation.

• You will prepare marketplace-related key figures and thus provide the basis for decisions.

Qualifications

• Experience: First touchpoints with marketplace business, ideally with an ERP system, preferably plentymarkets.

• Process Understanding: You understand how e-commerce processes work, from customer order to after-sales.

• Marketplace Know-how: Basic understanding of marketplace campaigns and promotions and how they work.

• AI Competence: You already work with AI tools and contribute your own ideas on how content and process work can be improved with them. In this role, this is not a bonus, but a prerequisite.

• Numerical Aptitude: You keep an eye on key figures and derive meaningful next steps from them.

• Work Style: Independent and with a hands-on mentality, even with recurring routine tasks that keep operations running.

• Organizational Skills: Structured and organized way of working, even with multiple parallel marketplaces and tasks.

• Language Skills: Very good German skills, both written and spoken. Good English skills; you can read and write English texts confidently as you are involved in our internationalization.

• Team Spirit: You enjoy working in close exchange with others and actively contribute to the team.

• Home office one to two days per week possible after onboarding and by agreement. In the first few months, you will work entirely in the office in Biberach so that you can quickly integrate into the team and processes. The office remains our standard even after that.
