What awaits you:

We are currently starting new projects where we think AI-first from the outset – from development to the product idea. Topics such as tourism, mental health, and the music industry meet modern software stacks and AI-supported development. If you're keen to build things with us that don't smell like the typical 08/15 enterprise but really make a difference, then we're looking for you!

Tasks

• You work with AI agents in code (e.g., Claude Code, Codex) and check their results yourself.

• You prepare data and merge sources, for example from databases, interfaces, and tracking.

• You answer questions from product and customer projects with You formulate hypotheses, perform exploratory analysis, and statistically verify results.

• You plan and evaluate experiments, e.g., A/B tests.

• You build evaluations and dashboards that enable product and customers to make decisions.

• You ensure data quality: duplicates, missing values, plausibility.

• You bring solutions from prototype to production with the team, including deployment and monitoring.

• You explain results clearly and openly state their limitations.

• You share knowledge, with people and with AI agents.

• You work closely with product, UX, and development. Our AI Officer will guide you technically.

• You independently take responsibility for sub-areas.

Qualifications

• You have completed a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Business Informatics, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field, or possess equivalent practical experience. Your own projects count just as much.

• You have gained initial experience, e.g., through internships, working student positions, your thesis, or personal projects. Years of professional experience are not a prerequisite.

• You are proficient in Python. Git and understandable code are a given for you.

• You work with Python and R and have a basic understanding of databases (SQL).

• You are familiar with data visualization, experiment design, and the fundamentals of statistics.

• AI-supported development (e.g., Claude Code, Codex) is part of your daily routine.

• You ask questions when data and requirements don't align and handle confidential data carefully.

• You reflect on your work and share knowledge. Experience as a tutor is a plus.

• You speak German at a C1 level and English at a B2 level.
