On their behalf, we are looking for a Junior Controller / Junior Finance Manager (m/f/d) at the Düsseldorf location as soon as possible. We are deliberately seeking a junior profile with high development potential.

In this role, you will be an integral part of the management team – at the same time, it is natural for you to actively participate in day-to-day operations. This allows you to develop excellently in the role and earn your seniority!

Responsibilities

• Hands-on & Strategy: You will be a full member of the management team, but at the same time actively and operationally involved in the day-to-day business of accounting, controlling, and cost accounting.
• Leadership Perspective: You will gradually assume functional and disciplinary responsibility for the finance team at the two German locations and grow into the role of team leader/manager.
• Consulting the Management: Through the sound analysis of relevant financial data, you will advise management on issues related to investments, price calculations, and ad-hoc analyses, and derive measures for process optimization.
• Compliance & Reporting: You will ensure compliance with all legal regulations and group-internal guidelines (such as US-GAAP and SOX) and play a significant role in reporting and the preparation of financial statements.
• Process Optimization: In close cooperation with the IT department and global teams, you will drive the modernization, standardization, and simplification of internal processes and systems.

Qualifications

• Successfully completed business administration studies (BWL) with a clear focus on controlling and accounting.
• Relevant professional experience in controlling as well as in the calculation and analysis of standard costs – you bring the necessary tools, but above all have strong development potential.
• Strong hands-on mentality: It is absolutely logical and natural for you not only to delegate in this role but also to actively participate.
• Initial leadership experience is a plus, but not a must. More important is the absolute will to grow into this role.
• Proficient in MS Office; experience with BI solutions and the ERP system 'Oracle' are advantageous.
• Strong affinity for numbers, analytical thinking skills, and a structured and independent way of working.
• German and English language skills at a negotiation level.
• Availability: A notice period of significantly less than 6 months is a strong advantage for this placement.
