Junior Controller / Finance & Data (m/w/d)

One part of your role is classical finance handling – pragmatic, structured, and reliable. The bigger lever: You connect our data, automate processes, and ensure that numbers become real decision-making foundations.
In short: You keep the operational finance clean and develop it further.

Aufgaben

Your tasks:

• Support in ongoing accounting processes
• Preliminary preparation of salary runs and adjustments
• Participation in monthly closures
• Coordination with accountants and external partners

Data, Reporting & Automation (ca. 80–90%):

• Building and further development of reports and dashboards for various teams
• Linking and structuring data from different systems
• Automating recurring processes (e.g., reporting, evaluations)
• Using AI tools for efficient data analysis and preparation
• Developing KPIs and supporting data-based decisions
• Identifying inefficiencies and actively improving processes

Qualifikation

You bring:

• Studies in the field of business administration, finance, controlling, or comparable – or strong practical experience
• First experience in the finance/controlling field
• Very good understanding of data, numbers, and relationships
• Good Excel skills (or comparable tools)
• Interest in automation, data processing, and AI tools
• Structured, pragmatic working style – you get things done simply
• Desire to question and improve things
• Very good German language skills

Nice to have (not a must):

• Experience with BI tools (e.g. Power BI, Looker, Tableau)
• Experience with ERP systems
• First contact with SQL / databases / APIs
• Experience with automation (e.g. Zapier, Make, Python, etc.)
