At ENSECUR, after structured onboarding, you will increasingly work independently in data protection consulting. You will initially take on standardized tasks and manageable mandates and, with professional support, develop step-by-step into independent customer support.

Our customers are particularly large social and church organizations, software and IT companies, as well as other companies with demanding data protection and digitalization projects. You will not only work with templates, but also learn to understand legal, technical, and organizational contexts and translate them into practical recommendations for our customers.

Mobile Work: Up to two days per week of mobile work possible - possibly reduced for part-time

Tasks

• You will support our customers in the ongoing implementation of data protection and, after onboarding, increasingly take on your own tasks and mandates.
• You will handle typical data protection issues, for example, regarding privacy notices, data processing agreements, data subject rights, data breaches, records of processing activities, or internal data protection regulations.
• You will review facts and documents based on our existing procedures and develop comprehensible recommendations for our customers from them.
• You will increasingly conduct customer discussions independently and learn to ask for the crucial information strategically and explain data protection requirements understandably.
• For more complex legal, technical, or organizational issues, you will work together with experienced colleagues to find solutions.
• You will prepare and, with increasing experience, conduct training sessions and meetings yourself.
• You will participate in more demanding projects, for example, data protection impact assessments, the introduction of new software, Microsoft 365, or AI applications.
• You will document your consulting comprehensibly and use existing templates, checklists, and internal standards.
• With increasing experience, you will contribute your own suggestions for improvement to our working methods and templates.

Qualifications

You have a good feel for your counterpart, think in terms of solutions, and see yourself as a service provider for our customers. You are curious, enjoy learning, and have the desire to grow personally and professionally.

• Studies or training with a data protection focus and IT or comparable qualification
• A completed degree with a focus on data protection, law, business law, information management, business informatics, or a comparable qualification. Solid basic knowledge of data protection law and an interest in applying and further developing this knowledge in consulting.
• You can handle structured tasks independently and recognize when you need support with more difficult questions.
• You can grasp, organize, and communicate complex issues understandably.
• You enjoy communicating with customers and want to learn to lead even more demanding consulting situations increasingly independently.
• German language skills at least C1 level in spoken and written. Our customer consulting is predominantly in German. Therefore, you must be able to understand complex legal, technical, and organizational issues reliably, ask targeted questions, and explain them comprehensibly.
• Good English language skills at approximately B2 level, particularly for understanding and processing English-language data protection, contractual, and technical documents.
• Initial practical experience in data protection, consulting, or a related field is helpful, but not a prerequisite.
• You work meticulously, reliably, and are willing to independently acquire knowledge for new issues.

The annual salary for this position starts at €48,200 gross. The specific classification depends on your professional experience and how independently you can already take on tasks and mandates.
