(Junior) Consultant Application Engineer (m/w/d)

In your role, you are the technical interface between customers and development. You design and implement tailored technical solutions and support technical project leadership. In doing so, you convey complex matters clearly and educate our customers.

In an existing project at a customer from the Life Science sector, you will be trained by an experienced colleague.

Tasks

• Understand and prepare professional and technical requirements – together with the team and our customers
• Participate in designing solution concepts for cloud architectures and infrastructures (AWS or Azure)
• Participate in technical sketches, API designs, and integrations – with increasing independence
• Preliminary preparation and conduct of technical workshops/demos
• Container builds & deployments (Docker)
• (Further) development of APIs and microservices (e.g., in Python or Typescript/Node.js)
• Work with relational databases (schema, queries, ORM fundamentals)
• Integration of various systems via APIs (REST, Webhooks)
• Maintain security and compliance guidelines

Qualification

• Completed studies in the field of computer science, business informatics or a comparable qualification
• First practical experiences (e.g., through internships or work student activities) in application engineering, consulting or software environment are advantageous
• Curiosity about technical connections and enthusiasm for understanding complex systems step by step
• Work in changing project environments (remote-first)
• Communicative strength and joy in collaboration with customers and clients
• Very good German and good English skills
