Junior Commercial Fast Track Account Manager

As a junior and upcoming full-fledged Account Manager, you will contribute to strengthening our market leadership by actively seeking out opportunities for Eurofins and taking charge of realizing new business; think about expanding services, analyzing current customer segments, cross-selling, deepening customer relationships, starting and implementing innovations.

The track to becoming a full-fledged account manager consists of:

• Managing a portfolio of your own small clients as an inside sales manager;
• Learning from senior account managers: working together on Eurofins' largest clients;
• Working on your (own) business development projects, in collaboration with Business Development Manager, Analytical Service Managers, R&D team & Marketing Manager;
• FOLLOWING training sessions, such as: communication & behavior, (key) account management, negotiating, project management, etc.;
• Coaching various senior leaders within the organization.

Tasks and responsibilities that come with this include maintaining and expanding existing and new customer relationships. Additionally, you will develop a vision on the market through desk research (legislation, market demand, trends, and developments, competitor analysis). This vision will be translated into business plans supported by a feasibility study and advice to management. Furthermore, we would like to create new (unconventional) proposals. Specifically, there are already several opportunities and projects:

• Growing the sales of specialties (e.g., Eurofins Omegam) in the NL environmental market;
• Developing more data-driven Sales approaches per segment/product;
• Innovation - Exploring and reworking data-driven products and services.

Work location: various locations of Eurofins Environment Testing Benelux, primarily Amsterdam and Barneveld. Hybrid work is an option.

The position reports to the Sales Manager & Sales Director NL.
