Junior Cloud Operations Engineer (all genders) CH

Your Responsibilities

• You ensure that our SaaS platform on AWS, Azure, and T-Systems runs reliably and performantly, taking responsibility for your own areas and topics.

• You analyze and resolve incidents, conduct root-cause analyses, and actively contribute to the further development of our observability. As part of the team, you are the point of contact for internal teams, customers, and partners, and you take turns in 2nd-level support readiness and on-call duty.

• You actively develop our monitoring with Prometheus and Grafana, create meaningful dashboards and alerts, and ensure that potential problems are identified early.

• You automate the setup and management of our cloud infrastructure with Terraform and, with ArgoCD, Docker, and CI/CD, ensure that new applications are reliably and automatically deployed to Kubernetes.

• You ensure secure and resilient systems, further develop backup and disaster recovery concepts, and regularly test their practicality.

• You keep our runbooks and operational documentation up-to-date, optimize recurring processes, and automate what doesn't need to be done manually.

We're Looking for Doers

• Completed apprenticeship, 1-3 years of experience in this field.

• Broad knowledge in the areas of network, security, virtualization, containers (Docker/Kubernetes).

• Experience with automation tools (Ansible, Terraform) and scripting languages (Bash, Python).

• In-depth Linux know-how (Ubuntu/Debian, RedHat/CentOS).

• Curiosity, efficient work style, and entrepreneurial thinking.

• Very good knowledge of German and English.
