Job description
For an important company in the Luxury Sports Car construction sector
Openjobmetis S.p.a.
is looking for
a junior buyer.
The candidate will be integrated into the purchasing office and will report directly to the Senior Buyer.
Under the supervision of the Senior, they will be responsible for:
- Management of the purchasing cycle for materials, components, and mechanical processing
- Research, selection, and qualification of suppliers
- Negotiation of prices, contractual conditions, and delivery times
- Issuance and monitoring of purchase orders
- Management of relationships with national and international suppliers
- Collaboration with production, technical office, and warehouse
- Cost analysis, budget control, and reporting
- As this is a junior position, 1/2 years of experience in a similar role in the mechanical engineering sector is required
- Knowledge of materials, mechanical components, and main processing is desirable
- Negotiation and problem-solving skills
- Sufficient knowledge of the English language
- Excellent command of the Office suite (Excel)
Educational Qualification
- Technical diploma or Degree, preferably in a technical or management field
Work location: until December 2026 RIVALTA DI Torino, from January 2027 the company
will move to Moncalieri.
Working hours: core hours from 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM and from 1:30 PM to 5:30 PM, Monday to Friday
Employment: CCNL Metal PMI Confapi, expected annual salary £ 26,000.0 to £ 28,000.0
Meal vouchers of £7.50 per day are provided.
Contract duration: 6 months with the possibility of direct hiring by the company.
