Junior Bunker Trader
Job description
- Proactively research, identify, and cultivate new customer relationships within the marine fuels market.
- Prepare quotations, negotiate terms, and close bunker transactions while safeguarding commercial margins.
- Coordinate bunker deliveries in close collaboration with operations teams, with a strong understanding of vessel schedules and port dynamics.
- Track oil market trends, shipping activities, and competitor movements to uncover trading opportunities.
- Evaluate and manage operational, credit, and delivery execution risks.
- Incorporate low-carbon and alternative fuel options into customer proposals to align with sustainability objectives.
- Ensure full compliance with trading regulations, ethical standards, and internal governance procedures.
