To strengthen our team at our location in Kelkheim/Taunus near Frankfurt, we are looking to fill a Junior Accountant (m/w/d) position on a full-time basis as soon as possible.

Your Tasks:

• Participation in financial and investment accounting: Support with processing debit, credit, and asset account entries
• Tax-related tasks: Assistance with preparing sales tax returns and supporting the preparation of tax declarations
• Payment transactions & debt collection: Support with booking bank statements and monitoring and conducting debt collection processes
• Account reconciliation: Participation in reconciling and maintaining accounts, as well as clarifying outstanding items
• Closing and reporting: Assistance with monthly closings, reports, and statistics, as well as preparing annual financial statements
• Process optimization: Active participation in developing processes, particularly in collaboration with adjacent departments such as controlling and operations.

Your Profile:

• A completed business administration degree or equivalent training – e.g., in the field of finance or accounting
• First practical experiences in accounting, ideally with basic knowledge of HGB/RechKredV and a fundamental understanding of processes in the banking or financial services sector
• Interest in tax-related topics (e.g., sales tax, capital gains tax) as well as initial contacts with tax authorities or financial institutions
• Familiarity with MS Office – particularly Excel; first experience with accounting software (e.g. DATEV) is an advantage
• A meticulous and reliable work style, initiative, and willingness to learn, team skills, and enjoyment of interdisciplinary cooperation
• Very good German and English language skills in writing and speaking (at least C1 level)
