The responsibilities you will be entrusted with:
- Manage accounts payable and receivable: processing invoices, payments, and collections, ensuring accuracy and timely reconciliation.
- Follow, record, and manage fixed assets, ensuring proper documentation and compliance with accounting standards.
- Perform reconciliations and variance analyses to maintain precise financial records.
- Support cost tracking and reporting to improve financial efficiency and decision-making.
- Perform additional accounting tasks as needed to support the finance team, including but not limited to journal entries, financial reports, and compliance-related tasks.
- Communicate effectively with internal departments, external suppliers, and stakeholders to resolve financial requests.
- Identify and implement process improvements within accounting operations.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field.
- Pertinent first experience in accounting.
- Mastery of French and English, for communication purposes with the headquarters.
- Mastery of Microsoft Excel (dynamic cross-tables, VLOOKUP, formulas, and data analysis)
- Experience with SAP (an asset)
- Care about details, analytical spirit.
- Able to resolve problems proactively and independently.
- Excellent communication skills for collaboration internally and externally.
