Junior Accountant

Job description

A rewarding job opportunity is available within the manufacturing sector for a Junior Accountant based in the Western Cape.

In this role, you will be responsible for day-to-day accounting activities, including billing and invoicing, banking and payments, accounts receivable and payable, fixed assets, CAPEX, and month-end accounting. Practical experience with bank recons, journals, and debtors and creditors, will be essential to your success, as will hands-on experience with Syspro or a similar ERP system.

To be considered, candidates should hold a relevant tertiary qualification in Accounting or Finance, with completed SAIPA articles or relevant articles/trainee experience. Candidates must have a strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes. Newly qualified candidates will be considered.
