As Junior Accountant (m/w/d), you can expect a versatile position with plenty of room for design. You ensure the smooth processing of ongoing accounting processes and take responsibility for various tasks in the financial sector. Furthermore, you have the opportunity to actively contribute to the development of internal workflows and bring your own ideas into play. In particular, when modernizing financial processes and implementing digital solutions, you can make a significant contribution and shape the future of the company.

Tasks

• You ensure the proper recording and booking of all business transactions and process incoming invoices, bank transactions, and customs-relevant documents in this regard.
• You monitor and reconcile bank accounts regularly and ensure transparent and reliable accounting.
• You are responsible for the entire payment processing – from preparation and review to timely execution – and support efficient liquidity management.
• In close cooperation with departments, you review invoices for plausibility, completeness, and factual correctness.
• You actively contribute to the creation of monthly and annual statements and perform the necessary closing entries independently.
• You process tax-related questions, prepare tax reports, and ensure timely submission.
• You review and process travel expense accounts and contribute to a smooth processing of administrative financial processes.
• Furthermore, you bring your ideas into the optimization and further development of existing financial and accounting processes.

Qualification

• You have successfully completed a degree with an economic focus or a commercial education. Additional qualifications in the field of accounting, finance, or tax law are a plus but not a must.
• You bring already established professional experience in financial accounting and were able to gain valuable practical experience especially in the main book.
• You are enthusiastic about modern financial processes and have an interest in actively driving changes – especially in the areas of digitalization, automation, and process optimization.
• You understand numbers, relationships, and economic indicators not only in detail but also in the broader corporate context. You are aware that a reliable accounting contributes significantly to the company's long-term success.
• You are familiar with MS Office and digital applications and have experience with ERP or accounting systems, such as SAP Business One.
• You work structured, conscientious, and independently and convince through a solution-oriented and proactive working style.
• Teamwork is self-evident for you. You appreciate the exchange with different departments and communicate professionally and on an equal footing.
