Job Description As a junior accountant, you will join the accounting department of our Regional Headquarters in Zemst. Together with your team of about 6 colleagues, you will manage various financial administrative processes for our head office and our branches.

• Together with your colleagues, you are responsible for general accounting and support Finance-related projects and specific tasks
• You code and book invoices
• You ensure timely and correct payment to our suppliers
• You contribute to the preparation of various accounting documents, statistics, and tax/legal declarations
• You are responsible for the follow-up of accounting accounts
• Weekly, you are responsible for excise tax returns, monthly for VAT returns
• You are responsible for the monthly follow-up of outstanding supplier invoices and handling customer inquiries
• You prepare various reports in Excel

Profile

• You have obtained a bachelor's degree in an economic or financial field, or you have relevant experience
• You can work easily with Word and Excel; knowledge of SAP is an asset
• You have strong administrative skills; numbers hold no secrets for you
• You don't mind being flexible. And we are too: we work with flexible hours, and you can work from home 1 day a week
• You have a good knowledge of Dutch
