Are you a detail-oriented individual with a passion for accounting ? A well-established financial firm in Roodepoort is offering an excellent opportunity for a junior candidate eager to learn and grow in the financial field.

Our client is a professional firm based in Roodepoort, Gauteng, specializing in accounting, taxation, and financial consulting. Established in 2019, the company offers a comprehensive range of services tailored to meet the unique needs of individuals, businesses, and trusts.

Location: Roodepoort
Salary: R20 000 – R25 000 per month
Working Hours:

Monday to Thursday: 08:00 – 16:00
Friday: 08:00 – 13:00

Responsibilities:

Prepare financial statements for Companies and Trusts
Monthly accounting work for clients
Send monthly management accounts to clients
Submit VAT returns
Perform tax calculations for Individuals, Companies, and Trusts
Complete and submit tax returns via SARS e-Filing, Greatsoft, and Xero
Review SARS assessments for accuracy
Manage SARS-related administration on behalf of clients via e-Filing

✅ Requirements:

Qualifications: BCom Accounting or similar degree
Experience:

Outsourcing: The person needs to be able to work with different departments of accounting and be comfortable with various profiles (Advantageous)
Otherwise, experience in a similar environment

Software Skills:

Excel proficiency
Experience with any accounting software (Xero is advantageous)
