Jr Payroll Specialist

As Payroll Specialist at Unilabs, you will play a key role in ensuring correct, timely, and efficient salary processing. Together with your colleagues in the Payroll team, you will ensure that everything runs smoothly. You will work closely with HR and Finance and be the point of contact for all questions about salaries.

Main tasks and responsibilities

• Control and process changes such as new hires, salary increases, bonuses, leave, and sickness

• Participate in the monthly payroll run

• Answer questions from employees & management about payroll-related matters

• Prepare or report on payroll-related matters

• Advise HR and Finance on payroll-related matters

• Think and work together with HR operations to optimize processes

• Work together with external parties such as the Tax Authority, pension funds, and payroll providers

Requirements

• HBO work and thinking level, preferably with a degree in PDL, VPS or comparable

• At least 1 year of experience in a similar role within a medium-sized to large organization

• Knowledge of relevant legislation (taxes, labor law, social security)

• Experience with AFAS salary administration system is an advantage

• Accurate, discreet, and analytical strong

• Good communication skills, both in Dutch and English

• Proactive attitude and able to work independently

• A drive to continue improving
