About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Data Scientist with a strong foundation in time series forecasting and predictive modeling. The ideal candidate will have experience in building and validating models that support business planning, demand forecasting, and strategic decision-making. You will work with large datasets, apply statistical rigor, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver accurate and actionable forecasts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deploy forecasting models using statistical and machine learning techniques.
• Apply regression, classification, and time series analysis to solve business problems.
• Conduct A/B testing and hypothesis testing to validate model performance and business impact.
• Perform data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model tuning using Python libraries.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand forecasting needs and translate them into analytical solutions.
• Communicate insights and model outputs through clear visualizations and presentations.

Preferred Skills & Tool Stack:

• Programming Languages: Python (strong proficiency in NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn)
• Forecasting Techniques: ARIMA, SARIMA, Prophet, Exponential Smoothing, Machine Learning-based forecasting
• Modeling Skills: Regression, Classification, Time Series Modeling
• Statistical Analysis: A/B Testing, Hypothesis Testing, Confidence Intervals
• Bonus: Experience with SQL, visualization tools (e.g., Matplotlib, Seaborn), cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure), and deployment frameworks

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 1 5 years of experience in data science, with a focus on forecasting or predictive analytics.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
