Our client is a growth-oriented and modern company in the field of loyalty and incentive programs with its headquarters in Pinneberg.

Tasks

As (Junior) Accountant, you will take over daily accounting and ensure that all administrative and financial processes run smoothly. You will work closely with the Senior Accountant, as most of the management is located abroad.

In the long term, you can develop towards Controlling & Reporting and prospectively grow into a senior role.

Your tasks:

• Ongoing accounting (creditors, debtors, bank, reconciliations)
• Verification, booking, and management of 30-100 invoices per day
• Daily bank checks & payment overviews
• Preliminary payroll accounting (externally; you will take over data import & verification)
• Ensuring correct and complete administration
• Support for monthly and annual closings
• Closely working with the Senior Accountant & international management
• Participation in the system change from DATEV to a new accounting tool
• Using tools like Pleo and Flowers (nice to have)

Qualification

• Completed training or studies in the field of accounting.
• 1+ years of professional experience in accounting, including invoicing, monthly closings, and payroll accounting.
• Very good German and good English skills in writing and speaking.
• Experience with DATEV is advantageous, as well as solid Excel skills and an affinity for numbers.
• An open mindset and willingness to learn, allowing you to prospectively also get involved in more complex financial topics.
